For those interested in joining, here is a basic outline of our organization’s structure and an overview of how it functions.
- The Board of Directors provides strategic direction and oversight to the entire organization. Its responsibility is to define the mission, set long-term goals, and supervise the Executive Team.
- The Executive Team implements the vision set by the Board of Directors and manages day-to-day operations. Its responsibility is to facilitate school-specific governing bodies, oversee tech stack, maintain partnerships (community, school, university, and industry), and organize cross-school initiatives. They also recruit top-performing students into an Elite Leadership Group for special initiatives.
- The School-Specific Governing Bodies consists of an Executive Delegate, participating students, parents/guardians, teachers, and selected student leaders from the school. It acts as the operational committee at the school level, directing student groups, fosters strong connection with teachers and school district and ensures alignment with ElderMind’s mission. It is responsible for approving and supporting student project plans, guiding student groups, and communicating recommendations to the Executive Team.
