About Us

About Us

Founded in the Bay Area, California, this initiative started with Mission San Jose High School as our first school partner. Our goal is to expand to other schools, inspiring and empowering more students to create a positive impact in elder care through real-world learning as well as learning of cutting edge technology, generative AI, sensor technologies, machine learning and robotics. ElderMind is in process to acquire 501(c)(3) from IRS and it is neither soliciting or nor accepting any donation at this time.

Our Mission

Our mission is to enhance the happiness, well-being, and quality of life of elders through innovative technological research, real-world applications, and educational initiatives that inspire the next generation to advance elder care. We focus on improving health outcomes, early detection, and life-enhancing solutions, while providing a platform to engage students in understanding societal challenges faced by older generations. Through this engagement, students will develop a deeper understanding of elder care needs and use technology to create meaningful, real-world solutions for society. As part of these initiatives, we may implement pilot programs or provide resources and equipment that support elders’ quality of life, allowing students to observe the direct impact of technology in elder care.

Our Purpose

At ElderMind, we are dedicated to empowering the next generation to drive meaningful innovation in elder care through cutting-edge technology. Our mission is to enhance the happiness, well-being, and overall quality of life for elders by advancing the research and application of generative AI, sensor technologies, machine learning, and robotics. We believe that technological innovation, combined with a focus on real-world impact, is key to improving the lives of ageing populations.

Our success lies in the depth of our research and technological innovation, ensuring that the solutions we develop are not just theoretical but genuinely useful for elders. We focus on solving real-world challenges by leveraging advanced technologies that have tangible, life-improving applications. While teaching students to use existing technologies is valuable, our priority is to foster deep research and innovation—creating new technologies that are not just solutions for today, but that pave the way for tomorrow’s advancements in elder care.

Equally important is our commitment to teaching students how to leverage these advanced technologies to solve complex societal challenges. Through hands-on experience and research initiatives, we inspire students to explore the potential of generative AI, sensor technologies, machine learning, and robotics. By empowering them to develop new, practical solutions, we aim to create lasting improvements in elder care while also preparing the next generation of innovators to lead the charge in technology.

While scaling knowledge to a large number of students is valuable, our focus is on going deep—ensuring that students gain a profound understanding of these technologies and their applications, rather than simply distributing existing knowledge. This approach allows us to foster the kind of innovation that truly impacts society, particularly in elder care.

Founded in the Bay Area, ElderMind began with Mission San Jose High School as our first partner, and we aim to expand our reach to inspire more students to advance the field of elder care. Through this work, we create opportunities for young minds to explore the intersection of technology, innovation, and societal impact, leading to meaningful contributions in elder care and beyond.
